Vanpac collect the data in the following methods and method of collection may change in time to time

  • We collect your required personal data for n our service initiation even prior to contractual agreement with us or our partners as part of our service
  • Upon agreement of our service with our company or our partners or your employer or relevant authorities for our agreed services.
  • When our partners engage our service , you interact with our staffs at various levels such as move coordinators, managers, quality department persons and authorised onsite operation staff (engaged by Vanpac Intl Pte Ltd or third party authorised by us) over physical documents, emails, fax and other all forms of electronic media , telephone call and face to face meetings etc.
  • Our authorised overseas partners also collect all required for customs clearance who are aware and agreed with our Personal data protection policy
  • Our authorised insurance agency or insurance underwriter
  • When you provide the personal data of your spouse and children or any third party who like to use our service, by submitting such data to Vanpac, you agree that you obtain consent and represent to provide such information

 

Purpose of data protection policy

Vanpac commits to inform all our clients including corporate, individual, institutional how Personal Data (Subject to the Singapore Personal Data Protection) is collected, retained, used and disclosed.

On submitting the personal data to our authorised staff, you agree and consent to Vanpac International Pte Ltd to collect, use and disclose the information to our authorised partners and relevant third parties in the prescribed manner set forth in the data protection policy and this policy will be updated as and when required

Definition of Personal Data

Personal Data” refers to any data submitted to Vanpac Intl Pte Ltd about an individual customer by them or authorised persons of the corporate, institution or relevant authority .

Examples of personal data are but not limited to is Name, NRIC, passport details, employment letters, company name, address , Authorised person’s name , address in Singapore and overseas countries, spouse and children names, overseas residential status, telephone, email ,bank names, accounts numbers etc for the fulfilment of our contractual services entitled to each and individual customers authorised by individuals as well as relevant third parties or our partners or any authority for the fulfilment of our services

Note: We may redefine the definition of personal data time to time as and when required

Vanpac collect, retain, use and disclose your personal data for the following purpose.

  • To respond to your enquires / request to offer our service
  • Initiation of Vanpac service and confirmation of our services.
  • Managing the administrative and business operations of Vanpac and complying with internal policies and procedures
  • For the execution of service with shipping line, airline agencies, airlines, our partners and our partners who comply Vanpac personal data protection policy.
  • administering and processing any insurance claims and payments arising under the respective policies;
  • To resolve complaints
  • Monitoring or recording phone calls and customer-facing interactions for quality assurance, employee training and performance evaluation etc.
  • Legal purposes including but not limited to obtaining legal advice and dispute resolution
  • Payment process

In addition, Vanpac may use your personal data for business analysis and company business and quality improvement programs

Vanpac take reasonable steps to protect such data against unauthorised physical and electronic access by Vanpac employee /staffs.

4. Retaining Your Personal Data

Vanpac will retain your personal data (both in physical and electronic form) with authorised access for specified duration and required by and governed by in all respects by the laws of Singapore.
